The Mum (aka Sam Leong) is born and bred in Singapore. She is happily married, has 4 kids - 3 boys, 1 girl (she is number 2) and is holding a full time job.
Work and Wok is her way of sharing to the world her trials and tribulations of balancing work and family. It is also a place you can come to for ideas, support and encouragement. It is The Mum’s hope that with this blog, working mothers can have a safe, fun and supportive stop to rest.
The name Work and Wok was the brian child of The Mum’s dear husband. She liked it instantly as it truly reflects the 2 sides of her life – work and family.
In her leisure time, when she has some, The Mum loves to read, cook up a storm and play games on facebook/her ipod touch/her computer.
